QuickFax is handy for sending short messages quickly.
To use QuickFax:
‚å• Choose QuickFax from the Apple menu. The QuickFax Message window appears.
 
‚å• Choose one or more (hold down the shift key to select more entries) entries in the Phone Book . Then, enter any desired message into the QuickFax Message box. The message will be automatically fit in the box. The default quality is 'fine' which sends high resolution faxes.
‚å• If the number you want to send to, has not yet been entered in your phone book, click on the 'New Number' button and you will be able to enter the relevant information about the new recipient. This information will be automatically entered in your phone book unless you click on the 'Temporary Number' check box.
‚å• You can use ‚åòx to cut, ‚åòc to copy and ‚åòv to paste in all the text fields.
‚å• You can enter upto 500 chatacters in the message area. Please remember that if you use a large logo or a large coverpage font, and send a large message, your fax will exceed 11 inches and may not fit on a single page for a receiving plain paper fax machine.
‚å• Click on the Attachments check box to indicate that the fax is to be sent with some previously created attachments. You will be asked to select the attachments from a list when you click Spool Now. (See section 6.2.2 below to learn how to create attachments). The attachments will be sent in the order in which they appear in this list.
 
‚å• Click Spool Now. ValueFax quickly spools the fax into the background and begins dialing after a short delay.
‚å• Close the QuickFax Message window. You can do other work now.
